Check in Time

Check in time is at 4pm. Please take note of anything damaged or missing in your condo and report it to the front office, so that you will not be incorrectly charged for damages.

Check out Time

Check out time is 12:00 noon sharp! Just as you had the pleasure of enjoying a clean unit upon your arrival with us, we would like to render the same service to other incoming guests. Please be respectful and check out on time.

Attire

In consideration of the laws of the Cayman Islands, NO nude sunbathing or sunning may be done on the Coral Stone Club property.

Baggage

For your convenience, we have a luggage cart available near the office. Please return it promptly after each use. If you need assistance, please dial 0 from your unit.

Climate

The Cayman Islands enjoy a perfect tropical climate with an average year-round temperature of 84 degrees during the summer and 75 degrees during the winter. The ocean temperature ranges from 75 to 85 degrees.

Credit Cards

Major credit cards are accepted throughout the island. Coral Stone Club accepts MasterCard, VISA and American Express.

Currency Exchange

The U.S. dollar is widely accepted in the Cayman Islands. If US currency is used for payment, change will likely be given in CI. Our currency is similar to the U.S. and consists of 1 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, and 25 cent coins. Paper currency is in the form of $1 (blue), $5 (green), $25 (brown), $50 (blue), and $100 (orange) bills. The exchange rate is fixed at $1 U.S.” = CI.80 … and CI $1” , but please call the front desk for the latest exchange rate. If you want a better exchange rate, take money in the form of travelers checks to the local bank and they will pay a better rate.

Electricity

The Cayman Islands electricity is the same as the U.S., which is 110 volts, 60 cycles. Visitors from countries other than U.S. may need to use adapters. Electricity is generated by diesel generators which is a costly method compared with many communities. Please help us conserve energy whenever possible.

Garbage

Receptacles to dispose of your garbage are located in two areas (1) the front entrance in the gated area and (2) to the south end of the property. Please place garbage inside the bins. If an area is full, please dispose of it in the alternate location.

Gratuities

Rental guests pay a 6% gratuity tax on the Gross Rental Rate, which is included in your room charges paid prior to your arrival. If you are particularly pleased with a service or housekeeper, and would like to reward them, it is acceptable to do so upon departure either personally or through the front office.

Housekeeping Service

While staying at Coral Stone Club, you will receive daily housekeeping service except for Sunday and major holidays. See “More abut Grand Cayman” for a list of holidays. Housekeeping is between 8:00am and 3:00pm, and until 4pm from December 21, 2007 to March 25, 2008.

A specific time for service may be requested, however it is not guaranteed. Every day you will receive fresh towels along with general cleaning. Every other day the sheets will be changed. If you require more towels, please call the office by dialing O. Please note, each unit has been supplied with beach/pool towels, which are blue.

Immigration

For questions and information regarding documentation required, and for any extensions of your stay, you MUST contact the Immigration Office so you may have your white slip changed to remain in the country legally.

Lost & Found

Please check with the front office for any missing or misplaced items. The Coral Stone Club cannot assume responsibility for any missing items left behind.

Found items will be held for 30 days. After the time period, if we are not notified, items will be given to charity. Mailing items can be expensive, however we will mail them if you are willing to pre-pay the mailing charges.
